When you buy lumber from Evergreen Truss & Supply, you get kiln-dried
fir-larch. The other guys sell hem-fir and SPF, some of which isn't even kiln-dried. Why should you care? Because fir-larch
has structural performance characteristics that are superior to these other species of wood. Take a look at these charts to
compare:

As concerns the rest of your material needs, we'll make every effort to
sell you the best performing products for your project. We don't go for gimmicks or gadgets because we know you are smarter
than that. Far better for us to provide what you need; then when you succeed, we succeed.
We live in an age when it is becoming far more difficult for lumber producers
to get the logs needed to supply top-quality lumber products. Here in the Northwest we have been spoiled for decades by having
top-grade lumber readily available at relatively low prices. Those days are gone forever, but the situation is not entirely
bleak. Necessity, always the mother of invention, has given rise to an ever increasing inventory of engineered wood products
(EWP). Materials such as glulam beams, oriented strand board, I-joists and laminated veneer lumber are made using virtually
any available type and size of trees, in concert with modern engineering and manufacturing technology. Guess what? EWP are
turning out to be stronger, stiffer and straighter than Mother Nature's own.

Evergreen Truss & Supply's manufacturer of choice for EWP is Boise,
particularly for I-joists. We've done a lot of research and experimented with a lot of product samples, and we find Boise's
EWP to be the most cost effective for any project.
Another reason Boise is at the head of the class is their design software,
which allows us to design floor systems with the same precision as our roof truss systems. What, you didn't know your floor
should be engineered?

Beams and headers? They require the same precision in determining the correct
size for every application. No guesswork. Here again, Boise's Versa-Lam is our product of choice, and once again, engineering
yields precision.
